On all rollercoaster’s it has to start off with the highest point in the rollercoaster. That is the thing that gives the rollercoaster a boost so is can go through the whole ride without slowing down or stopping. Here is an example of the energy that doe that.
Point1. Has the most GPE because that is the highest it can go in other mean that it has the most GPE. On point 4. It’s about half and half. Half of is GPE and the other is KE. Point 4. Is increasing. Point 6. Is decreasing because it is not at the highest GPE and is not at its highest KE.
On the first point it is at the highest GPE because it can go no higher than is already is. On point 4 is is in the middle because is about half as high as the first hill. On point 6 it is at the lowest because it is even lower than the one before.
On point one it is the least because it is not moving back or forward. On point 4 it is increasing because it is starting to go back down. Point 6 is decreasing because it is only a little bit off the ground.
KE and GPE are different in many ways but one thing about then that is similar is that is takes both of them to make something move.
